Job Description - CHROME PLATING OPERATOR

A Chrome Plating Operator is responsible for applying chrome coatings to metal objects to enhance their appearance and durability. They operate and maintain plating equipment, prepare surfaces for plating, and ensure that the chrome coating meets quality standards. The operator monitors plating solutions, adjusts variables like temperature and chemical concentrations, and inspects finished products for consistency and defects. They are also responsible for adhering to safety protocols, maintaining records, and troubleshooting any issues during the plating process. Responsibilities

• Operate chrome plating equipment, including electroplating tanks and rectifiers.
• Prepare surfaces of items for plating by cleaning, polishing, and masking.
• Monitor and adjust plating solutions, ensuring proper chemical balance and temperature.
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure the desired chrome thickness and finish.
